Before the
companies,
there was
experience.
The Foundation
Birmingham, Alabama. I started learning business from the ground up — not from a business textbook, but from customers, employees, suppliers, mistakes and the realities of making payroll.
The Industry
More than two decades in flooring taught me something I couldn't have learned anywhere else: great businesses aren't built from spreadsheets alone. They're built by understanding people, products and the friction that gets in their way.
The Turning Point
I started seeing the same problems over and over — information scattered across PDFs, spreadsheets, emails and phone calls. The technology had changed. The workflow hadn't.
REPConnect
I stopped asking whether the industry could work differently and started building the technology to make it happen.
Today
I'm interested in the intersection of AI, relationships, physical industries and entrepreneurship — and what happens when you bring them together.
Next
The story is still being written.
Not every good idea deserves to become a business. Timing, execution and the willingness to walk away matter just as much as the idea itself.
